Chiltern Therapy. (hereinafter, also referred to as "we" or "our") are committed to respecting your privacy and to complying with relevant data protection and privacy laws. Our privacy policy includes compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

This privacy policy statement is intended to aid your understanding of how we collect, use and protect information provided by you when you visit the chilterntherapy.co.uk website ("website", "the site").

This privacy policy applies to the use of the web site. Once you leave this website via a link or otherwise, the privacy policy does not apply. Once you have left the site, Chiltern Therapy is not, and cannot be responsible for information obtained from you by other website operators. The collection, use and storage of sensitive financial information

We never store sensitive information, such as bank details or credit card, for any time beyond the processing of a transaction requested by you. Such sensitive financial information is collected from you using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software. This software encrypts this and all other personal information submitted to us via the website. These details are also encrypted when sent to credit card companies when processing the transaction. When we confirm the receipt of the payment we will only send the last five digits of the card details. Once we have confirmed the payment for the transaction, your sensitive financial details are deleted from our databases. This means that no unauthorised person should be able to see your sensitive financial information. This precautionary process also means that we will be required to request the financial information every time you intend to make a payment via the website.

Information security

Chiltern Therapy uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software which encrypts Personal information that is transmitted between website and us. As you may be aware, no data transmitted over the Internet can be entirely secure. Whilst we will use all reasonable endeavours to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information when using our website. We cannot accept responsibility for any unauthorised access or copying or loss of personal information which is beyond our reasonable control.

The password protected areas of the website are designed to provide a valuable bespoke service for you. Although steps are taken to avoid unnecessary posting of personal information, occasionally subscribers will receive web-pages in these password protected areas containing their personal information. We will disclose your Personal information to external individuals or organisations, only if:
